Ruhama means “mercy”
It illustrates empathy and helping others

In 1996, Tina and Marian Daragiu founded Ruhama Foundation based on their personal experience with discrimination and poverty as a Roma-Romanian family living in Romania. Throughout the years they’ve learned that the issues Roma and vulnerable people are facing go so deep that only through an integrated approach, that requires public authorities to take sustainable action, will the fate of these groups ever have a chance to change for the better.
