After only two weeks since its opening, CAREERS Center provided initiation trainings to the youngsters from Bihor County. Hence, they could choose between “Conceiving and writing project applications” and “Sales agent” trainings, proposed as a result of the analysis done by the Faculty of Social Sciences on the job market. The first training, “Conceiving and writing project applications” took place in July 8-9, being available for 25 youngsters with ages between 18 and 24 years. The second training, “Sales agent”, will be held in the very next period. All training courses provided by the CAREERS Center are finalizing with graduation or qualification certificate released by the Ministry of Education, Research and Youth and the Ministry of Labor, Family and Equal Chances, based on the results obtained in the final evaluation exam. In the near future, the Center will also provide qualification courses in occupations like waiter, worker in commerce and agro-tourism, but also short trainings for operating PC, communication, team work, entrepreneur skills development, vegetables grower etc. The trainings are held within the CAREERS Center, established by Ruhama Foundation in partnership with the University of Oradea, Bihor County Council, Bihor County Employment Agency and Gesellschaft für Soziale Unternehmensberatung mbH from Germany, with financial support provided by the European Union through the Phare 2005 Program Economic and Social Cohesion, Human Resources Development, Active Measures for Employment. By the end of the year, 280 young jobseekers with ages between 15 and 24 years from Bihor County will benefit of such trainings.

Starting with the 27^th of June 2008, the CAREERS Center opened its doors in a building located in Oradea, on University street no. 4. Young people with ages between 15 and 24 years, regardless their education level, who are looking for support in finding a job from the center’s database according to their education and expectations, to be guided to elaborate their presentation for job interviews (CV, letter of intent) but also to develop a desirable attitude for interviews, to benefit of career guidance services including elaborating their psycho-professional profile or to acquire certain qualifications or competences in order to find easier a better job, are invited to visit the CAREERS Center from Monday to Friday, in the campus of the Faculty of Social Sciences, between 10.00-17.00 or to contact us at tel/fax 0259 456 180, email: cariere[at]ruhama.ro.
