The institutions and the nongovernmental organisations active in the social work field celebrated on Tuesday April 15th 2008, for the second time in Oradea, the World Social Work Day. The event took place in the meeting hall of the Bihor County Council and the meeting was organized by Ruhama Foundation together with the County Council and other similar institutions. The meeting was attended by representatives of religious cults, churches and organisations which developed social programs and social services for the benefit of people with various social challenges. The purpose of the meeting was to facilitate cooperation in social sector, exchange of practices and to identify needs to provide social services offered by institutions and organisations from religious background. source: Crisana |
