The community development action initiated in the Roma community from Telechiu Village, Tetchea Commune, is approaching the end. Ruhama Foundation has initiated in March 2006 a community development activity aiming to build 5 new houses for the poorest Roma families from Telechiu and to rehabilitate other precarious houses. The conjugated community efforts have led to notable results, the foundation together with the local community, public authorities and companies from the area have succeeded to raise 5 solid houses in a couple of months. The houses will be occupied by the beneficiaries before Christmas. These days, 1-7 November 2006, after a humantarian call to raise construction materials and furniture for the 5 houses, generous people from Oradea City have reacted positively to our call and they have donated doors, windows, heating stoves and furniture. It is our pleasure to announce the people which understood to support the Roma community from Telechiu: Miclau, Mermeze, Derecichei, Vad and Craciun families and also the Owners Association bloc P 71 from Calea Aradului.
