The Citizen Advice Bureau Oradea, together with the Coalition for NGO Sector Consolidation and the county branch of the Romanian National College of Social Workers have organized a meeting with the Member of Parliament from Bihor County, on the May 29^th 2009, at 10.00 AM, in the conference room of Oradea City Hall. The aim of the meeting was to inform the civil society about the parliamentary activity carried out since the mandate’s debut and to forward several proposals for legislative changes, regarding the following normative papers:

• Law 114/1996 (Housing Law);
• Law 119/1996 regarding civil status papers;
• Law 448/2006 regarding the protection and promotion of the rights for people with disabilities;
• Law 19/2000 regarding the public system of retirement and other rights of social insurance;
• Law 273/2004 regarding adoption;
• Government Emergency Ordinance 148/2005 corroborated with Law 61/1993 regarding state allowance;
• Methodological norms for applying the Law 34/1998 regarding the subsidies for Romanian associations and foundations that create and administrate social working units.
